In its 12th year, the Cape Fear Chorale is now an incorporated non-profit community chorus as of June 30, 2009. Click here to read the Star News article about CFC's journey to non-profit status.

The mission of the Chorale is to provide excellent choral music to the region at no cost to those who attend the concerts.  The group is totally dependent upon donations received. The Chorale currently receives no financial support from any grants or arts organizations and does not charge admission to concerts.

The spring concert scheduled for Sunday, April 22, 4 p.m. at Grace UMC (401 Grace St., downtown Wilmington) is titled A Choral Potpourri. This concert will feature selections by Tomás Luis de Victoria, George F. Handel, Franz J. Haydn, Howard Hanson, Josef Rheinberger, William Billings, R. Michael Daugherty, Leroy Robertson, Andrew Gilpin, Felix Mendelssohn, Eric Whitacre, Mack Wilberg and others.
