On the Road: An American Musical Travelogue

Join Cape Fear Chorale for our annual dessert theater, On the Road: An American Musical Travelogue. This program draws inspiration from the landscapes, stories, and spirit of travel across the United States, offering a musical reflection on the places and experiences that shape a shared journey.

The evening combines choral music with a relaxed, welcoming setting. The program includes:

  • A program of music inspired by American travel and storytelling

  • A selection of desserts served during the event

  • A silent auction featuring items from local supporters

  • A 50/50 raffle

This event serves as a fundraiser for Cape Fear Chorale. Proceeds directly support the Chorale’s ongoing work, including performances, educational opportunities, and community engagement throughout the season.

Join us for an unforgettable night of music and indulgence, all while supporting Cape Fear Chorale’s mission of bringing exceptional choral music to the community.

Cape Fear Chorale believes in the transformative power of music. We celebrate the expressive capacity of the human voice and the ability choral music has to heal, unite, and inspire our community. To that end, we are committed to building and enriching our community through exceptional choral artistry and by creating meaningful, educational, and inclusive musical experiences. Cape Fear Chorale (an incorporated nonprofit 501[c][3] organization) is totally dependent upon donations. Cape Fear Chorale is under the direction of Dr. Aaron Peisner, Artistic Director, and Conductor. All members are volunteers and the group is comprised of 85 auditioned singers each semester. Cape Fear Chorale presents two concerts annually, one in the fall and one in the spring.
